Video Perspective: VIA ARTiGO A1100 Pico-ITX Builder Kit
I caught this video of the Artigo A1100 and am posting it specifically because I worked a bit with the unit. It’s not quite there for performance in HTPC usage as the gang at PC Perspective note, and the fan is louder than it should be, but it’s still a super low powered system you could use for other activities if needed. VIA Technologies might not be a company we hear from very often any
more, but they are still plugging along in the world of small form
factor computing and embedded technologies. They recently sent us a
sample of their new ARTiGO A1100 pico-ITX small form factor DIY
computer. It comes pre-equipped with CPU, GPU, and basic IO and after
you add in a hard drive, memory and any optional accessories you have a
tiny machine capable of many, many uses.
