September 14th Blu-ray Releases

When I saw Big Bang Theory’s Season 3 available, it took every ounce of control to NOT select that. I figure most of us probably already know about it, so it’s too obvious a pick. Feast was too bloody to recommend to a whole group. I hope everyone has already seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, a Jack classic!

MissingRemote’s Pick of the Week

Another pick this week from a movie that I had low expectations for but was pleasantly surprised. Being a fan of the original 8-bit video game, I was very curious to see how it translated on the big screen. Jake Gyllenhall was pretty convincing, although Ben Kinsley was a bit much for my tastes in his role. But the scenery was beautiful and the action stunts well choreographed. Chalk this up to another fun filled ride that looks great on your home theater.
