HTPC Mod Into a Sony BDP-S1 Blu-ray Chassis
Yesterday I posted a mod from a Nintendo 64 chassis being used for an HTPC. Well in browsing over the AVSForum I saw this super clean mod from Gmanhdtv where he uses a not-so-old Sony Blu-ray player and mods an HTPC into it, while still utilizing the original Blu-ray drive itself! Great work!

I have always liked the clean design of the S1 and decided to go all out
this time. I removed the front panel transport buttons and refinished
the front panel with no silkscreen or logo’s. The two top panel buttons
are fully functional as power and drive open/close. All led’s were
replaced with 12 volt blue including the hdmi and hd indicator lights.
