Blu-ray Releases – March 8, 2011

It’s a good week for documentaries, as Inside Job and Exit Through The Gift Shop were both Oscar nominees this year. Besides that nothing major released…another Excalibur film which I haven’t seen.

MissingRemote’s Pick of the Week


Even if there were some more blockbusters released this week there’s not much that would have beaten out this Season One of one of my favorite TV series. This new show on AMC (thank goodness for something besides Mad Men from AMC) is about zombies. But it’s more than just blood and guts. Based off a graphic novel, there’s great story and interesting characters which made me sad to see the season end. If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s your chance to catch up before season two begins.

    Did you forget about the other hit show on AMC (Breaking Bad)?

    My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed The Walking Dead and we’re looking forward to Season 2.
