New indie film site hopes to “replicate the film festival experience”
All the “cord-cutting” talk has gotten me interested in alternative sources for content and this new indie film site has piqued my interest, as well as that of ArsTechnica.
I spent some time clicking through the site and came away generally pleased. Films can be watched in fullscreen mode and embedded in Web pages, similar to YouTube videos. One major bonus, though, is the closed captioning support—if you’re presented with a foreign film or you’re hard of hearing, the captions can be toggled on or off to fit your preferences.
