Blu-ray Releases – May 31, 2011
I was really tempted to pick “Drive Angry” as my pick…and then I watched it, so that was the easiest decision in my life–it feels like Nic Cage is becoming the new Segal, just going from one weird action movie to the next. This one was just boring throughout IMO. Outside of “American Graffiti” there’s not much else that had a chance to compete for the pick. I suppose we could recommend “Legend” with a boy Tom Cruise and some mythical creatures…I haven’t seen it in 20 years so didn’t feel right recommending it.

You hit a home run with your pick this week, Mike! It is interesting that they included Spartacus in this collection. I imagine that if Kubrick were alive, it wouldn’t have been.
