Emby Android apps get music support
While I don’t frequently listen to my music library on the go, those without a music service sub will find it indispensable. Which makes the latest feature addtion to Emby’s Amazon and Google Android flavors quite welcome.
Features include:
- Smart-screen interface with latest albums, last played, favorites, playlists etc.
- Two grid-views – browse albums or album artists
- Full audio queuing capabilities from within all aspects of the app.
- Instant-mix any artist, album or song creating hours of music with just a couple of clicks
- Audio playback while browsing your library – including playing your own photo slideshows with your playlist playing in the background
- Build up a queue of songs and quickly save it as an Emby playlist for later re-use. Even instant mix an item and then save that as a playlist
- Beautiful but subtle music “screen saver” interface during playback with full-screen artist slide shows and information on the current and upcoming songs
- Now playing queue right on the home screen while audio is playing
- And much more
Get it now from the Amazon and Google Play stores.
