I’ve always preferred plasma but it looks like it might be going away eventually. I wonder what happed to SED. Yahoo Sales of plasma display panels, or PDPs, have failed to keep pace with those of liquid crystal displays, a market research firm said. AMD Demonstrates Next Generation GPU with DisplayPort

PAPutzback is speechless about this 🙂  DailyTech The AMD demonstration had the next-generation graphics processor output to a Genesis Microchip DisplayPort receiver. Display manufacturers such as Samsung are developing new display products using the Genesis Microchip DisplayPort receiver. Samsung plans to release a 30” LCD display with 2560 x 1600 resolution and 10 bits of color depth next year.

Low-low price on 52" 1080p LCD from Vizio… Digitimes A 52-inch Vizio-branded full-HD LCD TV is expected to hit the North America market in August with the panels sourced from LG.Philips LCD, according to sources.
